I was diagnosed in October 2006 with Acute Myelocytic Leukaemia (also known as acute myeloid leukaemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of white blood cells). My white cell count at that time was 2.1 (Normal range: 6 to 11).
Following chemotherapy, my white blood cell count dropped to 1.2 and remained in that vicinity from November 2006 until March 2007. Due to the nature of my condition and these low results, it soon became apparent that chemotherapy was not working.
Chemotherapy was abandoned in February 2007 and all treatment ceased.I developed high fevers and chills in December 2006 and again in February 2007, requiring hospitalisation and prolonged courses of antibiotics. I deteriorated physically and was virtually bed-ridden. From February, I required frequent Platelet and Blood transfusions to improve levels of haemoglobin, white cells and platelets.
In early April 2007 I started taking Life Mel Honey. I was naturally a little sceptical at first, but knowing the nutritional value of honey was conscious that it couldn’t do any harm. I started taking the two teaspoons a day as directed and was amazed when after seven days I began to have more energy and feel stronger in myself physically.
However, the key point of my experience of taking Life Mel and the message I am keen to communicate are the facts; during the early period of taking Life Mel, my blood-work started improving and has continued to do so to this day. At the time of writing this testimonial – mid June 2007– my white cell count is 6.1 (normal, 6 to 11), my platelets are at 150,000 (normal 150,000 to 250,000) and my Haemoglobin is 135 (normal 130 to 145), l am out of bed, and have re-gained about 1 stone in weight. I have abandoned my walker and have played several rounds of golf, albeit only nine holes at a time.

Thank you for your letter dated 31st March, which I received today, after returning home from another chemotherapy session at the Birmingham Priory Private Hospital. I am a veterinary surgeon by profession and was diagnosed with bladder cancer towards the end of December 2007, at the Yale Private Hospital in Wrexham, North Wales. I had the initial bladder growth removed on the 3rd January of this year, and was then referred down to the Bladder Clinic at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham, where it was envisaged that I would probably have to undergo chemotherapy treatment prior to further surgery. About a week a week prior to going to Birmingham for my first consultation one of my employees read an article about Life Mel and showed it to me, and I ordered 3 bottles from one of your distributors in Cardiff. I saw the consultant surgeon, Mr Cooke, a week later, who would be performing my Cystectomy, with a conduit repair, but recommended that I saw Professor James of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital , Birmingham, first as he was recognised specialist in Chemotherapy, and Radium therapy.
I saw Professor James a week later, and he recommended starting on chemotherapy treatment, which I did the following morning after the consultation at the Priory Hospital. The chemotherapy was to consist of four courses of two sessions of chemotherapy each with two chemotherapy drugs given at each session. Each session would be followed by the next session a week later, followed by a weeks gap to allow the blood picture to recover, and then a further two weeks session and so on.
Prior to the first chemotherapy session I had already been on Life Mel for about ten days, and in the morning prior to the start of the chemotherapy session they took a blood sample to assess my initial blood picture for suitability for treatment. The result from the laboratory was very favourable, and they remarked that the readings were very high, and in particular my haemoglobin was probably the highest they had seen. I received my chemotherapy and was advised of the various side effects which might occur, such as nausea, lack of appetite, weakness, breathlessness, possible skin haemorrhages due to a lowering of my platelet count and mouth ulcers due to my lowered resistance to any infection, and also the expected hair loss or at least thinning of the hair. The first week passed without any of the side effects whatsoever, and prior to my second chemotherapy session the next week, I received my follow up blood test, which showed that my blood pictures had not varied, and my levels had remained very high, and I received my full dose second chemotherapy.
I am now going back for my eighth and final chemotherapy next week, and I have been able to go through the full course without interruption, and at a full dose each time, and without any calcium or magnesium supplementation also, as my blood picture has remained high through the entire course. I am very pleased to say that I have suffered none of the side effects that I was warned about, and have been able to carry on a normal and active routine during the whole of my chemotherapy.
I have seen Professor James three times during the course and he has been extremely pleased with my response to treatment, and the excellent blood levels that I have maintained, and he is hopeful that I might be able to be treated with radium only, and not have to resort to surgery.
I have also seen Mr Cooke the surgeon this week and he was also very pleased with me and is also hopeful that I might not have to undergo surgery but he will be performing a Cystoscopy on me in two weeks, when the final decision as to what the next stage will be. I have obtained further Life Mel from one of your distributors p in Birmingham, but the last two times I have order them direct yourselves.
Up to date I have bought fifteen bottles of Life Mel and taken it continuously since January, and I will have to contact you again at the beginning of the week for a further supply. If any other client receives the same benefits that I have received, then I can only totally recommend them to use it as it has made the whole process of chemotherapy very easy and free from any of the unpleasant side effects, and at the same time ensured that I was able continue the treatment without break, at full does, and without having to receive any blood transfusions or any supplements either.
This week while I was away my daughter was quite ill as he had been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism about three weeks ago, but had a severe reation to the drug, and her blood picture had become dangerously low. So she has started on Life Mel today, hopefully to help her build up her blood picture prior to a blood test next week. My mother in law has also started on the Life Mel last week as she suffers from an ongoing anaemia picture, but cannot take the Iron preparations, so I hope this might help her.
Hoping my observations might help somebody, and they receive the same excellent results that I have received.

"I feel I must write and tell you about my experience with Life Mel honey. As with most people receiving Taxol chemotherapy my white blood cell count had dropped to 1.53 and I had to miss a couple of chemotherapy sessions.
I read about Life Mel Honey in the Mail on Sunday and decided to try it. As I said my white blood cell count was 1.5 prior to chemotherapy. I had only been taking the honey for 10 days when I had another chemotherapy session and the blood tests showed white blood cell count of 1.67. Everyone was surprised as I had been warned the next session could be cancelled. I had a week free of chemotherapy and my next set of blood tests showed 5.75.
My chemotherapy nurses and oncologist are interested to say the least. I have given them all the information supplied by yourselves. Thank you Life Mel – it makes a change to find a product that does what it says and tastes nice as well."

“I was due to undergo radiotherapy for a brain tumour and was worried about the side effects I had been warned about by the nurses – lack of energy, sickness etc. So, at the start of my course of radiotherapy, I started taking Life Mel in the mornings and evenings. To my surprise (and relief!) I never experienced any side effects at all. I had taken the time off work in preparation for the exhaustion – but it never arrived! I have been able to lead a completely normal life whilst undergoing radiotherapy and have managed to keep going to the gym and run my business. Thank you Life Mel.”

“I was diagnosed with a post viral disorder after having very bad flu 14 months ago. Although I went back to work 3/4 weeks after recovering from the flu, I was extremely run down with bad malaise, aches, pains and absolutely no energy. I felt awful and unbelievably sluggish. I started taking vitamins etc but nothing made any real difference, I started to think that something was really wrong with me. I started looking for something that might help ‘kick start’ my immune system and typed ‘immune boosting honey’ into google – Life Mel came up. I started taking it in August of this year and can honestly say I have never felt better. Within 2 weeks I had so much more energy and felt more alive than ever before. The sluggishness, aches and pains had gone and I felt I could tolerate exercise a lot better. I have noticed steady improvements month on month and feel hugely better! This is a great product!”

“I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 7½ years ago and was told that I only had around 2 years to live - but I refuse to give up! I was watching This Morning back in the Summer and saw Dr Chris talking about Life Mel honey so I decided to order some as a last resort – I’ve all but exhausted my drug treatment options. My consultant had told me that I was playing the waiting game but after 10 weeks of taking Life Mel he was surprised to see that I was holding my own! I now take nothing but Life Mel every morning and evening I’m even well enough to keep going to my ballroom dancing classes! My granddaughter is getting married in 2009 and I hope that I might make it yet.”
Mrs L, East Sussex
“I was diagnosed with Myeloma late last year and was soon undergoing chemotherapy. This completely depleted my energy levels and any activity which required much walking was virtually impossible, my quality of life quickly vanished and I was virtually house-bound within a matter of weeks. Then this Summer I read an article in You magazine about a new honey product which was being used by people receiving chemotherapy. So I decided to try it, and within a week I felt like a different person! – the real turning point for me was being able to go to the shops unaccompanied for the first time in months; I was amazed to find myself browsing round John Lewis with a long list of things I needed without feeling exhausted. Thank you Holywell for giving me my life back.”

"I have stage 4 cancer which started in the breast and has now spread to various other parts of the body including liver, adrenals glands, lymph nodes etc. Before using Life Mel, my white blood and neutrophil counts were very low and cause of great concern to my consultant. I was also experiencing repeated periods of Neutropenia and had been hospitalised on a number of occasions. Before taking Life Mel Honey (15th August), my white blood cell count was 3.3 - one week later, on 22nd August, it had shot up to 7.3 (anywhere between 5 and 11 is considered 'normal' and 'healthy'.) My neutrophil count had also gone up from 1.5 to 5.7. My oncologist is absolutely astounded by these results and intrigued about the benefit Life Mel could bring other patients."
Mrs P, Perthshire
“Today I went for a routine blood and health check at the hospital 12 days after chemotherapy with Docetaxyl. This is the start of a 2nd cycle of treatment after 4x chemo sessions earlier this year. I started taking the honey the day before my treatment, 13 days ago, and 2 x spoons a day as directed.
An interesting result so far - at the hospital the doctor said that my blood counts/platelets were fine - in fact better than she would have expected. at this stage and high enough for more chemo though I am not due for my second dose for another 9 days.
Its early days yet but an encouraging enough result for me to have ordered another 6 jars. I intend to keep on taking the honey for the duration of my treatment over the next 3 months and will happily keep you informed of progress.”

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in April of last year and have undergone the usual treatment of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and finally a Bone Marrow Transplant. The donor was my sister.
The transplant has been a success, and I am now 1 year post transplant.
I have made steady progress throughout the year but started to need blood transfusions in February of this year as by red blood cell count kept falling. I received transfusions every 4 weeks approx.
It was on one of the occasions when receiving blood that I was watching Dr Chris. Steel on This Morning who was talking about Life-Mel.
I have now been taking Life-Mel honey for approximately 8 weeks and have not needed any blood as yet. I obviously don't know if this is solely down to the honey but I do believe it has had an effect on my blood cell levels. I have made the specialists aware of the honey and they were interested to hear about it.
I will keep you informed of my progress and thank you for introducing me to Life-Mel.
Mrs G, Suffolk
Just thought I would let you know that the honey seems to be working. Prior to taking the honey my blood results were always a little to low prior to having my next chemotherapy, so I would have to have another blood test on the day.
Since taking the honey the blood results have been higher so no need for 2nd test,
White cells 2.7 up to 3.1 then 3.8
Neutrophils 0.8 up to 1.2 then1.5
Hb 12.9 ,12.1 .12.3
Platelets 184, 263, 193
Results of neutrophils obviously important as they won't let you have chemo if results below 1.
I am really pleased and have recommended the honey to 4 other people having problems with low counts. Have also given literature to my consultant to read. Will carry on with honey for rest of my chemo.
Mrs B, Devon
“My husband was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in June 2007. He began his chemotherapy in August 2007 and has been taking Life Mel the whole time. His blood counts have been consistently high which means that he has not had to take a break from his chemo. He has also had virtually no side effects from the chemo which I understand many people suffer from. His only side effects are an increased appetite and slightly disturbed sleep. His is doing really well as he approaches his final chemo session of this round and I continue to be hopeful for the future.”
